About "Bequia" Painted by Scott Kish in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

Bequia is the second largest island of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Only seven miles long, it offers a charming, tropical, scenic experience. Scott Kish's painting of Bequia depicts the beautiful flowers blooming in the foreground with sailboats peacefully resting in the blue-green waters of the coastline. Scott uses his unique drip and motion techniques to convey a beautiful calmness in his watercolor painting, "Bequia," which means "island of the clouds" in ancient Arawak. |
